All participating properties will be visited by either an 'official' or 'independent consultant' in order to conduct a survey and evaluate the key aspects that form part of the final judging process. In fact, there will be three such visits during any year to ensure that the brand/property remains true to its commitment and maintains the quality of its services. However, it is to be noted that the visiting official will remain a ‘mystery guest’ and shall not make any contact with the management or officials of the property so as to ensure impartiality in his or her findings.

All the winners are entitled to two passes of the gala awards ceremony.

No, there are no charges or fees to be paid for the nomination in the initial phase. However, the costs associated with the property surveys, market research and the gala event are eventually distributed evenly amongst the final winners of the awards. What this means is that once the winners have been identified, they'd be requested for a voluntary contribution towards these expenses in the form of a nominal Nomination Fee, which has been fixed at INR 50,000 + Taxes for the year 2014.
